Alcohol, Drugs, Corruption & Greed, The Disease of Despair Killing a Nation.

Pine Ridge Reservation  in South Dakota is the home of the Oglala  Sioux Tribe and is part of the traditional homeland of the Free & Independent Lakota Nation. It is a place of stark beauty painted by a history of strength, pride, betrayal and genocide.

The United States Federal Government's failure to honor even one Treaty with the Lakota has led to  a state of  poverty & despair that at times seems all inclusive. Corrupt Tribal Government,Gangs & Bootleggers  prey upon their own people, while proud traditional Lakota continue to struggle to hold their Culture, Sovereignty & Right to Self-Determination against a Genocidal Government and The Culture of Alcohol & Drug Abuse, Greed and Fear that has invaded their own relatives and homes.

Lakota traditionally respect their elders, now they watch in horror as incidents like one that happened this last week in Evergreen Housing In Porcupine  S.D. where a 77 year old Grandmother was robbed, kicked and beaten by younger women seems to be becoming a common thing.

We will be posting more on this incident as we get the rest of the information. surrounding it.
