Cante Tenza would like to commend the OST Tribal Police on their dedication to keeping our children safe with their check -point for child safety seats.
However might we suggest that being equally industrious in stopping the flow of illegal alcohol unto Pine Ridge would save not only as many children's lives but improve the quality of life for many?
When Lakota families are being devastated by parents in jails,inebriated past ability to function or dead and Elder Grandparents being left to raise grandchildren and sometimes great-grandchildren, perhaps at the least a equal balance of priorities be addressed?
